Python AI engineer

Infosys is hiring a Technology Consultant 2 with a focus on Python AI engineering to support end to end delivery across the software lifecycle. This onsite role in Austin, TX centers on translating business needs into working applications, collaborating on design decisions, and maintaining quality through coding, testing, and production support.

What you will do

• Support requirements elicitation by documenting assigned portions of business requirements following provided guidance.
• Join software application design discussions and capture design decisions that help the technical team build the right solutions.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications while prioritizing overall system stability.
• Perform code reviews, make changes to the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
• Develop testing approaches, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to meet software quality standards.
• Create user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to enable smooth adoption of new applications.
• Take part in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to improve system reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to strengthen the knowledge base for related projects.
