Overview
As a Radio Frequency Software Engineer III, you will design, develop, integrate, and maintain secure software that powers mission essential capabilities. You will work alongside engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders to build scalable applications and services that directly support national security objectives. The role requires a solid foundation in modern software engineering practices, comfort in collaborative Agile environments, and a commitment to delivering resilient, secure solutions for complex operational challenges. Responsibilities
- Translate user needs into concrete software design and performance specifications
- Troubleshoot and fix defects in existing software using Python and C++
- Design and sustain a scalable, high availability mission system using modern system design practices
- Suggest improvements to documentation and software development process standards
- Support the creation and execution of test procedures for software components
- Architect and modify software systems employing scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict outcomes and assess design implications
- Collaborate with system and hardware engineers to derive software requirements, understand project limitations, performance targets, and interfaces
- Develop automation scripts to improve workflow and efficiency where appropriate
Requirements
- TS/SCI with Poly required
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline; four years of DSP Algorithm Developer software or equivalent experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree
- Twelve (12) years of experience as a DSP Algorithm developer on projects with similar software processes
- Twelve (12) years of experience with C++, Linux, Python, or similar development language
