Security Analyst Engineer

Summit Federal Services, LLC offers an onsite contract opportunity in Fort Gordon, GA for a Security Analyst Engineer. This role centers on delivering Computer Network Defense support to the BLCSE within the Cyber Enterprise Systems Center, ensuring Information Assurance policies and defense requirements are met on site. Responsibilities

• Provide Computer Network Defense (CND) support to the BLCSE within the CESC to ensure products, systems, and services comply with applicable IA policies, network defense requirements, and best practices as articulated by ODNI, DIA, DoD, DISA, ARCYBER, and related entities.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in Cyber Security disciplines within DoD and/or other U.S. Government agencies.
• Day-one baseline certification required, including GCIA (preferred) or CEH or GCIH or SCYBER or CFR or CSA+ or GICSP.
• Within six months of assignment, must have CISA or GSNA or cyber/information/network security advanced degrees approved by the IAM/COR.
• Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Evaluator Scoring Metric

• A relevant bachelor’s degree with substantial IA/CS experience (4+ years) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and on-the-job experience; additional certifications or experience may substitute for a degree.
• Demonstrated knowledge of DoD directives and CJCS instructions related to information assurance and cyber security governance, as well as IC and national security initiatives.
• Familiarity with DoD and IC security initiatives, and LAN/WAN technologies relevant to secure enterprise networks.
• Day-one baseline certification requirements as noted above, with a pathway to CISA or GSNA within six months of assignment.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI access.
