Senior Data Engineer - Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead data engineering initiatives to generate strategic insights and improve client business performance, overseeing ETL/ELT integration.
• Architect and deploy innovative data solutions using DataStage and advanced analytics techniques.
• Manage and mentor data engineering teams to build skills and ensure high-quality client service, including pipeline architecture.
• Leverage business intelligence tools and cloud analytics platforms such as AWS and Redshift to strengthen data-driven decision making.
• Design and maintain data pipelines and architectures to support analytics initiatives, using DB2 and SQL Server.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data utilization and process improvement, leveraging GoldenGate and CDC.
• Oversee deployment of scalable visualization and reporting solutions, with performance tuning as needed.
• Promote adoption of new technologies and methodologies within data and analytics teams, including S3 and Glue.
• Address and resolve conflicts or issues with clients and team members, escalating when necessary.
• Uphold professional and technical standards, ensuring adherence to PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
