Job Description

Capgemini is seeking a Senior Electronic Characterization Engineer onsite in San Francisco, CA, with a salary range of USD 68,911 to 161,544 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement comprehensive electrical characterization and validation plans for ECUs across multiple versions and revisions.
  • Perform bench-level electrical testing to verify design integrity, performance, and reliability.
  • Lead module‑level design verification activities to ensure ECUs meet product and manufacturing requirements.
  • Collaborate with Electrical Engineering teams to define test strategies and validation criteria.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable test hardware and automation software frameworks.
  • Interpret results and deliver clear, structured reports to stakeholders to enable data‑driven decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical characterization, validation, or design verification of electronic systems.
  • Hands-on ECU testing experience, preferably in infotainment or telematics systems.
  • Strong background in bench testing, signal measurement, and lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, etc.).
  • Experience developing or supporting automated test environments (hardware and/or software).
