Senior Engineer/Project Manager
Job Description
Sigma Engineering Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Senior Engineer/Project Manager to support complex engineering work across bridge, buildings, civil, and transportation-related structures in Las Vegas, NV. This onsite role blends independent technical leadership with project oversight, including reviews, approvals, and proposal support for engineering programs and funding opportunities.
In this position, you will apply extensive engineering knowledge to guide deliverables from document quality review through the development and submission of scopes, budgets, and schedules. Your work will also include technical advising to management and coordination across the staff needed to complete assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review complete project documents to ensure conformance and support quality assurance.
- Develop new techniques and/or improve processes, materials, or products to advance engineering outcomes.
- Assist upper-level management and staff as a technical specialist or advisor.
- Supervise staff necessary to complete assigned work.
- Review and approve scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
- Prepare proposals to secure professional services work and obtain funding for engineering projects or programs.
- Represent the organization in communications and conferences related to broad engineering assignments.
Requirements
- Independently apply extensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields.
- Use advanced techniques to modify or extend theories and practices across relevant sciences and disciplines.
- Work on major projects or several moderately scoped projects with complex features.
- Maintain advanced oral and written communication skills.
- Hold a Professional Engineer (P.E.) credential.
Role Direction
- Receive supervision and guidance related to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters.
- Receive direction on unusual conditions and developments.

Compensation: USD 125,000 - 145,000 per year
