Job Description

The Senior Hardware Design Engineer role, based in San Jose, California, focuses on high speed PCB design and end-to-end product development, incorporating FPGA and SoC experience. This position is with TMP Worldwide India Private Limited for ERS US.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex high speed multilayer PCBs with high component density.
  • Own the full product development lifecycle from concept through schematic design, PCB layout, prototyping, validation, and manufacturing.
  • Design, validate, and debug high speed interfaces such as DDR3/DDR4/DDR5, LPDDR4/LPDDR5, PCIe, SATA, and other SerDes interfaces.
  • Lead FPGA based board designs and validation, preferably with Intel Agilex series.
  • Conduct hardware debugging and board bring-up using advanced lab equipment including DSOs, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
  • Review designs for standards compliance and mentor junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams in Firmware, Mechanical, Manufacturing, and QA.

Requirements

  • 7 to 12 years of hands on experience in high speed board design.
  • Experience designing complex, high density boards and bringing products to manufacturing.
  • Strong working knowledge of Cadence Allegro, Concept HDL v23.1 or higher.
  • Proven experience with high speed memory and SerDes interfaces.
  • Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

USD 83,000.00 - 128,000.00 per year

Compensation and Benefits Details

Salary is within the stated range and may depend on location, skills, experience, education, and other factors. The role may be eligible for performance-based bonuses under company policy.
