Responsibilities
- Designs and conducts comprehensive security evaluations across multiple products and services to uncover vulnerabilities.
- Develops testing utilities to enable engineering teams to detect security weaknesses.
- Reviews security architecture and offers actionable recommendations to enhance protections.
- Contributes to analyzing and reviewing security alerts.
- Identifies advanced security violations and escalates to senior staff.
- Adheres to incident response protocols to contain and mitigate events.
- Participates in post-event debriefs to identify improvement opportunities.
- Supports compliance assessments to detect gaps and verify adherence to internal and external obligations.
- Reviews compliance deliverables to confirm alignment with policies and applicable standards.
- Implements controls and processes to meet internal and external obligations, collaborating with stakeholders.
- Maintains security-focused inventory records and related systems.
- Contributes to shaping business continuity and disaster recovery plans, processes, and procedures.
- Ensures execution of business continuity plans to support critical systems and data during disruptions.
- Participates in readiness assessments for certifications or audits to pinpoint improvement areas.
- Offers security best practices for data protection using encryption, hashing, masking, and access management to protect confidentiality and integrity.
- Reviews documentation and procedures to uncover opportunities to strengthen data security practices.
- Demonstrates advanced industry security knowledge and pursues ongoing learning through self-study and training.
- Keeps abreast of emerging trends to anticipate evolving threats and vulnerabilities.
