Senior Traffic Engineer opportunity in North Hollywood, CA (hybrid) with City Rise LLC.

Lead design projects across Southern California and guide the engineering team.
Review and approve Traffic Control Plans for safety and regulatory compliance.
Review and approve Signing and Striping Plans for safety and regulatory compliance.
Review and approve Traffic Signal Plans for safety and regulatory compliance.
Serve as the subject matter expert for work zone traffic control projects.
Support coaching and training of the engineering team.
Coordinate with Project Managers and the Engineering Manager on work distribution.
Prepare plan revisions based on feedback from customers and/or public agencies.
Develop complex temporary traffic control layouts including multi-phase and multi-jurisdictional plans.
Assist with complex base plans and temporary traffic control layouts.
Provide design assistance for plans prepared by other team members.
Offer feedback on plan reviews for management documentation.
Meet or exceed project deadlines.
Attend site visits, field checks, and project meetings as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.

2+ years of responsible-charge experience overseeing traffic control plans, striping plans, and traffic signal plans in Southern California.
Professional Civil Engineer or Professional Traffic Engineer license issued by the California Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
