Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer
Job Description
This Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer role is onsite in Walnut Creek, CA, with a salary range of USD 105,000 to 155,000 annually, and requires a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Professional Engineer registration, and 10 to 15 years of water and wastewater engineering experience (WTP/WWTP).
Responsibilities
- Conduct engineering tasks at water and wastewater treatment facilities
- Contribute to planning, design, and construction efforts on related projects
- Lead as Project Manager for medium to large scale water and wastewater initiatives
- Produce reports, draft plans, and develop technical specifications
- Develop cost estimates for diverse water and wastewater projects
- Perform hydraulic modeling analyses
- Maintain relationships with local municipalities and water districts
- Enter and analyze data
- Provide engineering support during construction
- Engage in field activities including pilot testing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration
- 10 to 15 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering (WTP/WWTP)
- Proven design and project management experience on municipal water and wastewater treatment plants
- Master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering
