The Staff Software Engineer role in Moorestown, New Jersey, on a hybrid schedule, focuses on maintaining and advancing MK41 Vertical Launching System software. Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance and modification of multiple MK41 Vertical Launching System software products in Moorestown, New Jersey for the Sensors, Effectors, and Mission Systems business.
- Initially serve as software lead on a prominent launcher program, accountable for deliverables across multiple software applications within an integrated suite.
- Provide technical team leadership, manage Earned Value and Control Account Management, engage with customers regularly, conduct quarterly in-progress reviews, and oversee risk and change management.
- Directly contribute to software development activities as business conditions require.
- Apply expertise in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), software configuration management, real-time embedded software development, and software integration and test.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with applicable coursework
- At least 9 years of professional software development experience
- Experience with or knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-discipline engineering teams
- Experience with earned value, schedule, cost, and risk management techniques
- Experience with cost estimating or proposal development
- Software engineering experience, particularly with C++ and Java, and familiarity with real-time operating systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level

Pay Rate
The annual base salary range for this position is $113,900 to $200,905. The precise range may vary by final work location, with the stated range applying to select states. The salary figures are general guidelines and may be influenced by factors such as experience and qualifications.
