Responsibilities
- Perform engineering work in water and wastewater treatment plants and conveyance systems
- Contribute to engineering planning and design projects
- Prepare reports, develop plans and specifications
- Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects
- Conduct hydraulic modeling
- Assist with permitting and the preparation of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables
- Data entry and analysis
- Provide engineering services during construction
- Participate in field activities such as pilot testing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Registration as a Professional Engineer
- 5 to 10 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering (WTP/WWTP)
- Strong design experience for municipal water or wastewater conveyance or treatment plants
- Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
