Signal Integrity Engineer - Network Engineer

Lead signal integrity engineering support for high-speed network hardware development in Research Triangle Park, NC.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for operations and manufacturing production at a major network equipment manufacturer
• Support signal integrity activities for high-speed network equipment and interfaces

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in signal integrity or hardware design
• Knowledge of transmission line theory and high-speed circuit fundamentals
• Experience using signal-integrity simulation and 2D/3D field-solver tools
• Experience with lab tools such as oscilloscopes, TDR, or VNA
• Experience with one or more of: IBIS, HSPICE, ADS, MATLAB, Cadence PowerSI AC/DC, Allegro
• Exposure to high-speed interfaces and links including SerDes, LVDS, CML, DDR, NRZ, or PAM4
• High-speed PCB/package development and/or PI analysis

• Pay rate: USD 60 per hour
