You will work in a hybrid environment in Fort Collins, CO while contributing to a team culture centered on inclusion, growth, and professional development.
What youβll do
You will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug distributed software that supports enterprise storage cluster networking and installation workflows. In this role, you will lead the creation of Go services and Kubernetes controllers/operators that manage cluster networking, network infrastructure, and software distribution.
- Design, develop, and own Go microservices and Kubernetes controllers/operators for cluster networking, network infrastructure management, and software distribution.
- Build host-level Linux networking software that configures interfaces, addressing, and routing to provide highly available IPv4 and IPv6 client access.
- Automate data-center network switch configuration and safe, recoverable firmware upgrades.
- Create and maintain services that package, store, and distribute software and container images for cluster installs and upgrades.
- Develop distributed services that remain correct through node failures, restarts, and partial upgrades.
- Review designs and code for correctness, failure handling, and testability, and provide actionable feedback to improve product quality and reduce failure risk.
- Develop automated unit, integration, and system tests, including fault-injection testing.
- Troubleshoot customer escalations and field issues across Kubernetes, Linux networking, and network infrastructure, then convert learnings into lasting product fixes.
