Role overview
As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will design and deliver capabilities that support NASIC's digital transformation initiatives. The role involves crafting new features, addressing issues in existing code, integrating with external services, and engaging in code reviews with the team.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new capabilities
- Resolve issues found in existing code
- Integrate capabilities with external services and tools
- Participate in code reviews and mentor team members
- Communicate status and technical details with the customer
Requirements
- 3 or more years of professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant STEM field
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
- Strong ability to communicate technical details of work
- Capacity to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for project segments
- Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills
- Experience with RESTful web services
- Experience with server-side languages, with preference for Golang, NodeJS, and/or Python
- Experience with modern frontend JavaScript frameworks, with preference for Angular, React, and/or Vue
- Experience with version control software such as Git
- Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA
