Job Description

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a full stack Software Engineer to join its Honolulu team. The role centers on end-to-end software and system development in an agile environment, with an emphasis on architectural improvements and client facing solutions. A minimum of two years of software development experience and a Secret clearance are required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end solutions in a fast, agile setting, addressing problems from conception to production.
  • Develop software and systems from initial vision through production readiness.
  • Apply a proactive approach to learning new tools and techniques and identify necessary system improvements.
  • Assist clients in overcoming complex challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies.
  • Ensure the team s solution aligns with the current architecture and operating environment while planning for future functionality and enhancements.

Requirements

  • 2+ years designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software applications.
  • 2+ years of experience with software development using common programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks.
  • Experience writing source code for new applications or creating and enhancing code samples for existing applications.
  • Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions.
  • Experience solving complex problems within a collaborative team environment.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.

Work Model

Compensation

Salary is determined by location and the individual's education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, along with contract-specific factors. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 per year. This range represents typical pay for the role and is one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package.
