Job Description

Insperity is seeking a Software Engineer to join a cross-functional scrum team focused on building and evolving business-critical systems. In this role, you’ll design and deliver software features end to end, partner with teammates across engineering, QA, and product, and help improve how the team builds and operates applications over time.

What you’ll do

  • Design and build APIs, internal platforms, and business applications
  • Contribute to design decisions, architecture discussions, and coding standards
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, QA, and product partners to deliver meaningful outcomes
  • Improve existing systems by addressing technical debt, reliability issues, and team friction points

  • Bring sufficient technical depth to support design and implementation decisions

  • Be comfortable working in modern application environments and picking up new technologies when needed

Stack and tools

  • Backend: C#, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs
  • Frontend: Angular and React (team dependent)
  • Data: SQL Server, relational databases
  • Cloud: Azure and cloud-hosted services
  • Practices: CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code reviews
  • Tools: GitHub Copilot, Git, Azure DevOps

Location: Texas (onsite). Salary: USD 78,100 - 88,950 per year.
