Software Engineer

Software Engineer role based in Huntsville, AL with an onsite work arrangement and a required current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software using C++ as a primary language
• Create and maintain unit tests and system tests
• Work with additional programming languages as needed, including C, Go, Ada, and/or Python
• Read, understand, and work effectively with source code written in other programming languages
• Translate technical concepts into work products, presentations, and discussion outputs
• Collaborate both independently and as part of a team environment
• Participate in work that may involve travel of up to 10% of the time
• Perform duties in an onsite office environment in Huntsville

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university, plus 5 to 10 years of experience, or a master’s degree with no required years of experience
• Demonstrated C++ development experience
• Experience developing unit tests and system tests
• Experience with C, Go, Ada, and/or Python
• Ability to read and understand other programming languages
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to think critically and capture concepts in work products, presentations, and discussions
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
• Ability to work on site in an office environment

• Current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance required at application and to start
