Build and maintain secure software that enables credit unions and community financial institutions to transact on BankSocial’s platform.

Design, build, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs that power BankSocial products
Model data, write efficient database queries, and improve performance and reliability in production services
Develop responsive web and mobile features in collaboration with product and design
Write maintainable, well-tested UI code and contribute to shared components
Build and maintain integrations with credit union core systems, payment networks, and third-party financial service providers
Apply security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements to integration and data-handling work (including NCUA, BSA/AML, PCI DSS)
Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and support CI/CD pipelines and production releases
Collaborate with engineering, product, compliance, and partner institutions to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Use AI agentic coding tools to plan, write, test, and refactor code; review and validate AI-generated changes before they reach production

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
3-5+ years of professional software development experience; experience in fintech, banking, credit unions, or financial services preferred
Proficiency in at least one backend language: TypeScript/Node.js, Python, Java, or Kotlin
Proficiency with a modern frontend framework: React or React Native
Experience with REST APIs, relational databases (SQL), Git, and a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Familiarity with core banking systems, payment processing, or NCUA regulations is a plus
Experience with Node.js, Python, and Kotlin
Hands-on use of AI agentic coding tools and workflows (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in day-to-day development
Background at a financial institution (bank or credit union) or a similar regulated financial services environment
