Job Description

On a small team supporting Apple’s Beta Software Program, this role focuses on software that helps power internal administration and the systems that read, report, and analyze customer feedback. You’ll work across applications, APIs, and databases to manage participants, content, permissions, and configuration data as the underlying schema evolves.

This Software Engineer position is based in San Diego, CA and is onsite. The salary range is USD 142,300 - 263,300 per year, with base pay determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

What you’ll do

  • Build and extend applications used to manage participants, content, permissions, and configuration across a large and evolving schema
  • Design data processing flows that move feedback through its lifecycle
  • Contribute to feedback reading, reporting, and analysis systems in collaboration with the ML team, especially as these systems adopt ML-powered features and async processing

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of industry experience in software development
  • Technical/Engineering BS or equivalent industry experience
  • Solid, hands-on coding fundamentals across at least one backend and one client/frontend stack
  • Willingness to work in Swift and Ruby specifically, regardless of prior depth in either
  • Strong SQL and relational data modeling skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, informal environment and respond quickly to shifting priorities

The base pay range for this role is $142,300 to $263,300, and base pay depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple benefits, compensation, and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and the terms of the applicable plan or program.
