Software Engineer (GIS Enterprise)

Robotics Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to support GIS Enterprise and geospatial intelligence analysis workflows in Fort Liberty, NC (onsite).

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced software engineering techniques to perform complex analysis, design, and modification of applications and databases for GIS Enterprise
• Develop, deploy, and maintain custom and ad-hoc applications supporting geospatial intelligence analysis workflows
• Use technical writing skills and collaborate with a team environment to support project execution
• Recommend innovative technologies to improve presentation and usage of enterprise GIS products, including integrated systems planning
• Demonstrate strong problem solving and decision making, including troubleshooting technical issues and resolving project challenges
• Understand user requirements and develop creative software solutions to support process improvements

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required
• 8 years of software development experience
• Proficiency in C# and Python
• Ability to create and develop custom tools utilizing RDBMS, NoSQL data stores, and distributed processing of large datasets
• High level/expert capability in intelligence systems development design and evaluation
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work as a team member and effectively direct subordinates
• High level/expert ability to manage and work with static and dynamic streaming geospatial-oriented data
• Required to obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate certification per DODD 8570.01 (Security+)
• Willingness to expand knowledge and experience, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and complete tasks within required deadlines
