Software Engineer II

Cintas is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, develop, improve, and support software applications in collaboration with business and technical partners. The role focuses on application performance support, quality assurance, and ongoing improvements across multiple technical environments.

Onsite Location

Mason, OH, US (onsite). Position requires onsite work 5 days per week in the Mason, Ohio office.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Business Analysts and stakeholders to review requirements, estimate effort, and develop technical solutions.
• Design, develop, document, test, maintain, and enhance software applications and modules.
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements, best practices, and innovative solutions.
• Support software quality through code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and alignment with architectural standards.
• Provide Tier II application support, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective resolutions.
• Mentor less experienced team members and communicate project status to business partners and leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum four years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience developing and maintaining software applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; the company is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working across multiple technical environments and business functions.
• Experience providing technical coaching or mentoring to other developers.
