Job Description
Google offers an onsite opportunity in Kirkland, WA for a Software Engineer III in Infrastructure, Cloud Compute Infrastructure. The role provides a competitive compensation package, including an annual salary range of $147,000 to $211,000, a 15% target bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. This position focuses on building and maintaining large scale infrastructure within the Cloud Compute Infrastructure group, with collaboration across design, code reviews, documentation, and issue triage.

Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Participate in, or lead, design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide among available technologies.
- Review code written by others and provide feedback to ensure best practices, including style, correctness, testability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage product or system issues and debug, track, and resolve by analyzing sources of issues and their impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience programming in C++, Go, or Python.
- 2 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
