Job Description

As a contributor within Corporate Technology, you will work across diverse teams to craft robust software, shape architecture, and leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance code quality and delivery speed while maintaining rigorous security and resiliency standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develops software solutions, designs, implements, and troubleshoots while applying nontraditional thinking to solve complex technical problems.
  • Produces secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that integrate with the required systems.
  • Generates architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures coding aligns with design constraints.
  • Collects, analyzes, and synthesizes data to build visualizations and reports from large, diverse datasets to drive continuous software improvement.
  • Proactively detects latent issues and patterns in data to inform improvements in code hygiene and system design.
  • Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and participates in events exploring new technologies.
  • Uses enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to boost code quality, delivery speed, and productivity on complex projects, with outputs validated through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards; shares learnings and reusable patterns across the team.
  • Applies SDLC toolchain knowledge, including AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to enhance the value of automation.
  • Fosters a team culture that values diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Python full-stack development experience.
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration in production environments.
  • Exposure to cloud-native development and AWS services, particularly AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
  • Practical experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools, with the ability to evaluate and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Knowledge of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations and secure handling of inputs/outputs; ability to guide peers on safe usage within team practices.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and agentic coding workflows (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer) and understanding of GenAI fundamentals for developer productivity.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline such as cloud, AI, ML, or mobile.

About the Team

The Corporate Technology team supports the broader organization by developing applications and delivering technology support for corporate functions across the network. Team members contribute to initiatives across divisions such as Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and the Corporate Administrative Office, working to meet evolving technology needs with a focus on delivering reliable, secure solutions.
