Job Description

Lead Full Stack Software Engineer focusing on designing, building, integrating, and deploying cybersecurity capabilities, including agentic AI software, with rapid prototyping and greenfield development.

Responsibilities

  • Conceive, build, integrate, and deploy new capabilities across the stack.
  • Lead greenfield development and end-to-end integration with top cybersecurity tools aligned to the team roadmap.
  • Use AI coding tools to rapidly scaffold, implement, review, and validate new software and features.
  • Communicate clearly and work autonomously when requirements are ambiguous.
  • Break down complex requirements into actionable tasks, design solutions, estimate effort, prioritize, and deliver capabilities.
  • Operate within a fast moving engineering team that keeps pace with evolving technology.
  • Deliver production-ready software as the definition of done.
  • Roll out next generation cybersecurity products.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React).
  • 7+ years working with data storage technologies such as SQL, Document, or Graph databases.
  • 7+ years of experience with cloud platforms and containers (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • 4+ years in system-to-system integration development via APIs.
  • 4+ years deploying, configuring, and operating applications and tools.
  • Experience implementing large language models, agentic AI, retrieval augmented generation, or MCP implementations.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Clearance

  • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Compensation

Projected annual salary range is USD 112,800 to 257,000, determined by location, education, knowledge, skills, experience, contract affordability, and organizational requirements.

Identity verification may involve biometrics and on-camera participation during interviews and assessments. Photos may be used to verify identity and prevent fraud.

Candidate AI Usage Policy

AI tools are part of daily work at Booz Allen, but the use of AI during interviews is prohibited unless explicitly permitted.

Work Model

  • Onsite: work primarily at a Booz Allen office or customer facility with required collaboration.
  • Hybrid: frequent presence at Booz Allen facilities; may require travel to customer facilities.
  • Remote: occasional in-person work at Booz Allen or customer sites may be required.
