Software Engineer (NASA SET)

Join TMC Technologies on the NASA Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) JSTAR team in Fairmont, WV (onsite). In this role, you will help design, develop, and deploy NASA spacecraft simulators that support advanced verification and validation (V&V) activities.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and deploy NASA spacecraft simulators for advanced Verification and Validation (V&V) activities.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 1+ years of pertinent engineering, software, or embedded software systems experience.
• Strong software skills.
• Experience with design and implementation of complex systems, including Linux development, C, C++, and Python.
• U.S. Citizenship with eligibility for a security clearance.

Helpful experience

• Experience or familiarity with QEMU.
• Embedded experience and spacecraft hardware knowledge.
• Experience with Linux development and provisioners.
• Experience with microcontrollers and FPGAs.
