Software Engineer - Secret Clearance

Deloitte seeks a Software Engineer to build and support application integrations for sustainment operations in Richmond, VA onsite, with an active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Implement approved enhancements and defect fixes
• Participate in code review, unit and integration testing, and release preparation
• Support incident troubleshooting during sustainment operations
• Document technical designs, changes, and support procedures
• Partner with the Custom Development Lead, Product Management, infrastructure, data, and cybersecurity teams to clarify requirements
• Manage dependencies and validate solutions against acceptance criteria
• Identify application performance, security, reliability, and deployment risks promptly
• Provide development support to help maintain stable mission services

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of equivalent experience
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future
• Active Secret security clearance required
• 6+ years of experience with PHP
• 4+ years of experience with Linux (Red Hat), Apache Tomcat, and MySQL

Compensation

• USD 102,800 - 171,300 per year
