In this hybrid role, you will build and maintain integration layers and event-driven pipelines that keep Release 1 and Release 2 work moving while providing production support for what is already live. The work involves REST and API integrations across AWS, Salesforce, and multiple external providers, with an emphasis on reliability, data accuracy, and thorough documentation for ATO.

What You’ll Do

  • Integrate Paravision biometric and liveness checks into the identity verification flow.
  • Create and maintain entity mapping logic to link an applicant to an existing or new IOR.

  • Support Release 1 and Release 2 integration work in parallel with ongoing production support.
  • Design, build, and maintain REST/API integrations between AWS services, Salesforce, and external systems (ATS/NVC, ACE, Paravision).
  • Develop event-driven integration flows using Lambda, API Gateway, Iprove, and SQS/SNS.
  • Build and maintain Salesforce-side integration components using Apex, Connected Apps, or middleware such as MuleSoft.
  • Implement data mapping and transformation logic between systems with differing schemas.
  • Write automated tests for integration endpoints and data flows.
  • Document data flows and integration points to support the ATO process.
  • Troubleshoot integration failures across the full chain, from the mobile app through ACE.
  • Collaborate with the cloud infrastructure engineer, application developers, and CBP stakeholders to keep integrations aligned with policy and security requirements.
