Job Description

SPAN Enterprises is seeking passionate .NET Developers to design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-native .NET applications and RESTful APIs. This onsite role in Rock Hill, SC emphasizes scalable web application development and effective collaboration across engineering teams.

Role Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using .NET Core and ASP.NET Core
  • Create secure, high-performance REST APIs
  • Produce clean, maintainable, and reusable code aligned with SOLID principles
  • Design efficient database schemas and optimize SQL queries
  • Work with both relational and NoSQL databases
  • Write comprehensive unit tests using xUnit or NUnit
  • Participate in code reviews and apply engineering best practices
  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design reviews

Required Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience building scalable web applications and RESTful APIs
  • C#
  • .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
  • ASP.NET Web API and RESTful API development
  • Dependency Injection and Entity Framework Core
  • LINQ
  • Authentication and authorization fundamentals (JWT/OAuth basics)
  • HTML5 and CSS3
  • JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Experience with one or more: Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
  • Query optimization, stored procedures, indexing, transactions, and database normalization
  • Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID, and clean code practices
  • N-Tier Architecture and design patterns (Repository, Factory, Strategy, etc.)
  • Exception handling and logging
  • Unit testing with xUnit/NUnit
  • Debugging and performance optimization
  • Git, including branching strategies, plus pull requests and code reviews
