Responsibilities
- Generate and simulate operational level plans to explore the art of the possible for defense of space assets in a future space scenario
- Dynamically optimize terrestrial and space-based sensors to provide comprehensive space domain awareness
- Strategically optimize the placement and maneuvering of satellite constellations to satisfy evolving priorities
- As a member of an Agile Scrum Team, rapidly develop and deploy solutions for a complex space system following core engineering principles to deliver fully functioning mission capability securely and continuously
Requirements
- Software development experience with object-oriented languages such as Java and JavaScript
- Experience developing software with CI/CD build tools (GitLab, Jenkins)
- Experience working on large-scale software projects with multiple teams and stakeholders
- Familiarity with software test best practices, including unit test, integration test, and end-to-end test
- US Citizenship Required: No clearance required to start but must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance

- Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over five days to condensed schedules that provide additional time away from the office, in addition to Paid Time Off benefits.
- Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
