Software Engineers

Maximum Technology Corporation is seeking Software Engineers in Huntsville, AL for onsite work supporting Department of Defense software development and sustainment. The role focuses on providing technical expertise across DoD systems, subsystems, and components, including architecture evaluation, code inspection, testing oversight, and change request management. Engineers in this position also mentor and direct a team of software engineers while supporting delivery across multiple platforms.

Role Overview

As a Software Engineer, you will interpret requirements and contribute to the development, debugging, maintenance, and testing of software for a range of projects. Your work will support sustainment activities for DoD-related systems and includes responsibility for technical review and process leadership to ensure quality and alignment with established standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret requirements
• Write, debug, maintain, and test software for a variety of projects across multiple platforms
• Support other job-related duties as assigned
• Conduct architecture evaluation
• Perform code inspection
• Manage processes and standards
• Provide testing oversight
• Manage change requests
• Mentor and direct a team of software engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a computer-related field
• Six (6) years of related experience
• Knowledge and ability in a variety of software engineering principles and concepts
• Ability to work independently and act as a team lead
• Ability to interface with stakeholders, perform management functions, and develop requisite reports
• Experience working with Agile methodology and the Jira project management tool
