Job Description

This onsite role at Booz Allen Hamilton is based in Fort Benning, GA, focusing on building data pipelines and platforms to organize disparate data for mission-driven work across fraud detection, cancer research, and national intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of advanced data engineering solutions on mission-driven programs.
  • Develop and deploy pipelines and platforms that transform varied data into actionable information.
  • Collaborate with and guide a cross-functional team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in an agile environment.
  • Oversee assessment, design, build, and maintenance of scalable data platforms for clients.

Requirements

  • Experience developing and maintaining ETL and ELT processes across multiple sources to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Experience building data pipelines for batch and streaming workloads.
  • Experience with software development including API design, database management, and architecture for containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for processing, scripting, automation, and optimization.
  • Experience delivering solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25 percent and travel CONUS up to 25 percent.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • HS diploma or GED.

Clearance

  • TS/SCI clearance is required; applicants will undergo a security investigation to determine eligibility for access to classified information.

Compensation

  • Salary range: $77,500 to $176,000 per year.
  • Compensation depends on location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and contract-specific considerations; the stated range represents typical pay for this position.

Work Model

  • Remote: Occasional in-person work at Booz Allen or customer facilities may be required.
  • Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility with potential client facility visits.
  • Onsite: Primary work location is a Booz Allen office or at a customer facility, with direct collaboration as needed.
