Sr. Electrical Engineer

TUTCO SureHeat is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to design control panels and elements for custom electric heating systems, onsite in Exeter, NH.

Responsibilities

• Lead control panel and element design efforts for custom heating systems.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to efficiently coordinate with suppliers.
• Provide follow-up support by addressing customer questions and refining specifications.
• Travel to customer sites for startup and troubleshooting, approximately 15% of the time.

Requirements

• AS or BS in Electrical Engineering; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
• Follow established engineering procedures and specifications to create and modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings, primarily using AutoCAD.
• Select materials and define tolerances to meet specifications, improve manufacturability, and reduce cost.
• Siemens S7 PLC and TIA Portal experience is a plus.
• Work from customer-specific requirements.
• Experience in a capital equipment manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Ability to develop positive rapport with customers and suppliers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of organizational skills and ability to multi-task across multiple projects.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Research, diagnose, and identify solutions to resolve customer issues.
• Maintain a high level of product and application knowledge.
