Sr Software Engineer

The Sr Software Engineer role supports end-to-end software delivery across the software development lifecycle, with a hybrid work arrangement based in Downtown Milwaukee. Role Overview

In Software Engineering (Division), the Sr Software Engineer will contribute to analysis, design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing support to deliver software solutions that meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements. The work includes implementing sustainable solutions and participating throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy software solutions covering the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and support
• Ensure deliverables meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems (or related field), or 4+ years of related experience
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices to AWS
• Experience with object-oriented and protocol-oriented design methodologies
• Experience working on a product team or squad
• Experience with Git source control and team code reviews
• Experience with .NET: proficient in Framework 4.5+, C#, MS SQL Server, and MySQL
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) tools
• Willingness to learn AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with React, Angular, and Tailwind CSS
• AWS Certified Developer (Preferred)
