Job Description
Luxima Technology is seeking a Staff Analog Design Engineer to help shape high speed CMOS image sensor front ends from concept through bring-up. This onsite role in Arcadia, California focuses on designing analog circuits for image sensors, leading front-end to bring-up design blocks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize sensor performance.

Requirements
- Doctor's degree
- Minimum 3 years of analog design experience
- Advanced knowledge of analog transistor-level design, switch capacitor circuit design, opamp design, ADC design, voltage/current DACs, PLLs and analog bias generation
- Detailed transistor-level design work for analog and mixed-signal circuits in CMOS image sensors
- Experience with full chip simulation and block-level, transistor-level schematic simulations
- Ability to collaborate with verification, process, test, and applications engineers to debug, characterize, and optimize sensor performance from concept through release
- Mentor and instruct less experienced engineers
- Strong motivation to contribute to all phases of chip design from conceptualization to mass production
- Multiple tapeout experiences are required
- Experience with bring up and lab debugging is required
Responsibilities
- Hold ownership of design blocks from front-end to bring-up, including transistor-level schematic design, pre-layout and post-layout simulation, analog circuitry layout, and verification
- Improve existing architectures and circuits to advance image sensor performance
- Apply advanced knowledge in analog transistor-level design, switch capacitor circuits, opamps, ADCs, DACs, PLLs, and bias generation
- Work on detailed transistor-level design of analog and mixed-signal circuits for CMOS image sensors
- Perform entire chip simulations along with block-level and transistor-level schematic simulations
- Collaborate with verification, process, test, and applications engineers to debug, characterize, and optimize performance of fabricated image sensors and bring products from concept to release
- Mentor and instruct less experienced engineers
- Contribute across all aspects of chip design from conceptualization to release to mass production
- Maintain a drive for successful tapeouts and robust lab bring-up efforts
