Job Description
Vantor Inc., based in Westminster, Colorado, is hiring a Staff Cloud Security Engineer to own the operation of security applications and services while integrating security into infrastructure design. This onsite role partners with information assurance and DevOps teams to ensure security is baked in from the outset and remains operational throughout the system lifecycle, with a competitive six-figure compensation package and comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain multiple security applications and services in a cloud-based environment that uses CI/CD practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, automated pipeline, and infrastructure issues related to security services.
- Build, maintain, and monitor the configuration of security tools.
- Develop robust security monitoring, alerting, and metrics using log aggregators and data collectors.
- Serve as a collaborative bridge between security-focused and development-focused teams.
- Provide configuration and vulnerability management support for production applications and custom code.
Requirements
- U.S. citizen with an active SECRET clearance and the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI access, with a Counterintelligence Polygraph required after SCI access is granted.
- CompTIA Security+ or another DoDD 8140-certified credential.
- Willingness to work in a secure environment up to 90% of the time, with on-call or after-hours onsite support as needed to support the mission.
- Minimum five years of DevOps, software, or infrastructure engineering experience; a Bachelor's degree is required, with four additional years of related experience substituting for the degree.
- Ability to quickly learn and work with a broad range of open-source technologies.
- Cloud service experience.
- Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes (K8s) or equivalent technologies.

Pay Transparency
The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $102,000.00 - $136,000.00 - $149,600.00 annually.
