Systems Engineer

Exxact Corporation is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the team on site in Fremont, California. The role centers on validating, supporting, and advancing high-performance system builds that encompass workstations, servers, and storage, while addressing integration challenges and keeping hardware compatibility documentation up to date. The position offers a salary range of USD 70,000 to 125,000 per year and requires at least two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and certify configurations for workstation, server, and storage deployments.
• Diagnose compatibility issues and assist Solutions Engineers with technical feasibility assessments.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Integration teams to refine builds and accompanying documentation.
• Assist in assessing new technologies and platforms for readiness.
• Document hardware compatibility matrices and known system limitations.

Requirements

• At least two years in a technical role involving hardware configuration or systems engineering.
• Experience building or supporting complex computer systems with strong knowledge of server and workstation hardware.
• Experience diagnosing compatibility or performance issues across CPUs, GPUs, memory, and storage.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, production, or technical support teams.
• Proven ability to write clear technical notes, validation results, or process documentation.
