Job Description
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Systems/Software Engineer III for a hybrid role in San Juan, PR. This position supports the development and delivery of a cloud-native and on-premises security management platform used to manage Juniper SRX/vSRX and related hybrid cloud security environments.
Role Overview
Security Director Cloud (SD Cloud) is a cloud-native Security Management Platform providing centralized management, monitoring, policy administration, and automation for Juniper SRX Firewalls, vSRX, Secure Edge, and hybrid cloud security environments. SD Cloud also serves as an HPE/Juniper management portal for Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and supports unified policy management, Zero Trust security, Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP), threat visibility, analytics, automation, and API-driven integrations.
Security Director (On-Prem) is the on-premises version of the same platform, centrally managing SRX and vSRX firewalls with policy lifecycle management, monitoring, configuration, logging, and automation through a web-based interface. It is the successor to Junos Space Security Director and offers similar operational capabilities for organizations that require local deployment.
