Responsibilities

Design and engineer machine control systems using AutoCAD, including sizing and selecting VFDs, motors, filters, protection devices, PLCs, and HMIs.
Develop, modify, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs and ladder logic, with Siemens controls support as needed.
Oversee installation, integration, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment across several local facilities, with about 30 percent travel.
Provide hands-on electrical and controls troubleshooting to maintenance teams, including diagnostics, upgrades, wiring, and real-time issue resolution.
Connect to equipment, diagnose control system issues, and modify or create PLC logic to support production and operational improvements.

Qualifications

AAS or BS in Engineering with 5+ years of experience; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal degree.
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and AutoCAD.
Familiarity with the National Electrical Code and machine safety standards.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction indefinitely.
