Responsibilities

• Design and engineer machine control systems using AutoCAD, including sizing and selecting VFDs, motors, filters, protection devices, PLCs, and HMIs.
• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs and ladder logic, with Siemens controls support as needed.
• Oversee installation, integration, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment across several local facilities, with about 30 percent travel.
• Provide hands-on electrical and controls troubleshooting to maintenance teams, including diagnostics, upgrades, wiring, and real-time issue resolution.
• Connect to equipment, diagnose control system issues, and modify or create PLC logic to support production and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• AAS or BS in Engineering with 5+ years of experience; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal degree.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code and machine safety standards.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction indefinitely.
