Responsibilities
- Understand and implement proven cost models on relevant captures.
- Perform cross-checks for program estimates.
- Develop and deploy dashboards leveraged by the team.
- Develop and present results to colleagues and senior staff.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Business Development, Program Finance, Estimating, Proposal Management, and ICE around model results.
- Become knowledgeable and available to answer questions around cost estimates and cost drivers.
- Work shoulder to shoulder with data science analysts building and enhancing tools and capabilities for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Have opportunities to grow and upskill in data science disciplines and technical abilities.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Finance, Math, Operations Research, or related field, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly detail-oriented with ability to balance multiple tasks at once
- High degree of accountability and responsibility with the ability to be a self-starter
- Microsoft Office experience (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience with and understanding of cost models, data collection, data analytics, systems engineering and/or finance or related areas

Work arrangement and schedule
Location: Onsite at a Lockheed Martin facility in Herndon, VA. This is a full-time onsite role.
Schedule: 9x80 every other Friday off. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules to provide additional flexibility, with some schedules condensed.
