ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an Engineering Finance Analyst and Engineering Cost Controller to oversee indirect ER&D spending across multiple programs from our Auburn Hills, Michigan site. This on site role centers on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, working in close partnership with Engineering, Purchasing, and Product Finance to ensure cost control for approved programs.
Responsibilities
- Act as the finance point of contact for Indirect ER&D spending across multiple programs.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, and Product Finance to manage and control indirect expenditures supporting approved programs.
- Co own the development, reporting, and tracking of budgeted, actual, and forecasted spending for assigned programs alongside the Engineering team.
- Serve as a direct business partner to Engineering Operations teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA is acceptable; if the bachelor’s degree is not in Finance or Accounting, an MBA is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
- At least 2 years of experience in business unit budgeting and forecasting.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple work streams simultaneously.
- Ability to deliver on high priority requests in a timely manner and provide a clear direction for deliverables.
