Engineering Manager

The Engineering Manager will oversee the maintenance team and day-to-day facilities operations for 1 Hotel South Beach, L.L.C., while supporting long-term planning, financial performance, and ongoing regulatory compliance. This role also emphasizes team leadership through collaboration, clear communication, and a solution-focused approach.

Role Overview

As Engineering Manager, you will lead the overall maintenance team and manage facilities priorities. The position focuses on developing strategies that support financial performance, maintaining strict compliance with regulatory requirements, and guiding the team to remain open, imaginative, and focused on practical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or related technical school degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of Engineering experience at a manager level.
• Strong communication skills, including verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements related to hotel operations and chemical storage as per OSHA.
• Flexible availability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior hospitality experience (strongly preferred).

This position is based in Miami Beach, FL and is onsite.
