Job Description

This Senior Software Engineer role at T-Cetra LLC focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining software across APIs and applications. The position operates in a hybrid model based in Dublin, Ohio, with on-site and remote work options.

Responsibilities

Leverage deep technical expertise to design and implement a diverse set of software projects, including APIs and applications.
Ensure both functional and non-functional requirements are met through active testing and adherence to quality standards.
Produce clean, efficient, and scalable code in line with internal guidelines and industry practices.
Contribute to team planning, tracking of work, and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
Design and maintain extensible applications, APIs, and relational database models.
Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and business stakeholders to elicit and refine requirements.
Support deployments and provide post-release application assistance as needed.
Mentor engineers on coding standards, development processes, and best practices to raise overall code quality.
Apply domain knowledge to deepen system understanding and contribute to effective solutions.
Recommend new practices, processes, and procedures to improve quality and productivity.
Review and approve changes to application code in collaboration with teammates.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform decisions.
Evaluate frameworks, technologies, platforms, and tooling options to guide technology choices.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of hands-on experience building and supporting software systems.
Strong problem-solving abilities and solid organizational skills.
Experience with ASP.NET Core.
Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar.
Experience in relational database design and performance optimization.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent certification.
