Lead Full Stack Software Engineer

Solera offers an onsite, full-time opportunity in Westlake, TX for a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer. This role centers on delivering high quality software built with C# and React, with a clear emphasis on performance, quality, and scalability. The position focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining software applications while leveraging modern tooling to enhance product capabilities and engineering efficiency. You will work onsite in Westlake, TX, partnering with product, UX, and operations teams to ship features that scale.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reliable systems that may also integrate large language models into our products
• Leverage AI tools like Copilot and automation platforms to enhance product capabilities and engineering efficiency
• Develop and maintain web applications using .NET with C# and ASP.NET Core/Framework
• Design and optimize database solutions using MS-SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL options
• Create responsive and dynamic user interfaces with React.js
• Write robust test suites using appropriate unit testing frameworks
• Utilize CI/CD tools such as Jenkins to streamline delivery workflows
• Collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third party services
• Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation efforts
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in full stack development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
• 6 to 8+ years of software development experience
• Experience in product based companies, contributing to development, enhancement, and scaling of high quality products across the product lifecycle
• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core/.NET 8+, Web API, and Entity Framework Core
• Expertise in React.js, TypeScript, Redux, with Next.js considered a plus
• Experience with SQL Server, MS-SQL Server or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis
• Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration
• Experience with a search and analytics engine like Elasticsearch
• Experience with unit testing (xUnit, Jest, Mog) and integration testing
• DevOps and CI/CD familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps
• Commitment to high performance, scalability, and security of applications
• Ability to conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and follow TDD and Agile practices
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with UX/UI designers and product teams
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
