Senior Software Engineer

This Senior Software Engineer role at T-Cetra LLC focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining software across APIs and applications. The position operates in a hybrid model based in Dublin, Ohio, with on-site and remote work options.

Responsibilities

• Leverage deep technical expertise to design and implement a diverse set of software projects, including APIs and applications.
• Ensure both functional and non-functional requirements are met through active testing and adherence to quality standards.
• Produce clean, efficient, and scalable code in line with internal guidelines and industry practices.
• Contribute to team planning, tracking of work, and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
• Design and maintain extensible applications, APIs, and relational database models.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and business stakeholders to elicit and refine requirements.
• Support deployments and provide post-release application assistance as needed.
• Mentor engineers on coding standards, development processes, and best practices to raise overall code quality.
• Apply domain knowledge to deepen system understanding and contribute to effective solutions.
• Recommend new practices, processes, and procedures to improve quality and productivity.
• Review and approve changes to application code in collaboration with teammates.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform decisions.
• Evaluate frameworks, technologies, platforms, and tooling options to guide technology choices.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of hands-on experience building and supporting software systems.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and solid organizational skills.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar.
• Experience in relational database design and performance optimization.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent certification.
