Job Description

Responsibilities

Support product testing and validation activities, analyze results, and implement design improvements.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in thermal systems engineering.
Design components, assemblies, and packaging, and use data management systems to track and report progress of assignments.
Verify drawing content for accuracy and completeness while adhering to industry design standards.
Complete design tasks using PLM workflows.
Maintain quality and accuracy of work and meet hard schedule deliverables.
Present designs in group settings and run meetings.
Develop consensus in cross-functional settings.
Manage and maintain project data with appropriate tools.

Requirements

HVAC: 3 years of experience required.
Must be able to commute to 28208 in Charlotte, NC.
Relocation to Charlotte, NC 28208 required before start.

Job Description

The Goodman Group is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer to provide engineering leadership, direction, and project management across its senior living and healthcare communities. The role centers on designing, commissioning, qualifying, and maintaining critical facilities with a focus on healthcare operations, delivering reliable and energy-efficient systems. This hybrid remote position is based in Chaska, Minnesota, with a salary range of USD 80,000 to 110,000 per year and a minimum of five years of engineering experience required, along with a bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Responsibilities

Maintain reliable and efficient HVAC and related mechanical systems that support daily operations.
Influence equipment uptime, energy performance, and long-term facility sustainability through expert analysis, design, and system optimization.
Lead and oversee equipment and construction projects, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.
Supervise maintenance activities for roofs, exterior siding, windows, doors, parking areas, chillers and cooling towers, exterior lighting, and overall building energy efficiency.
Lead the design and deployment of energy management initiatives, including solar projects and split-meter implementations.
Provide project management support for infrastructure upgrades and capital improvement efforts.
Oversee the national Emergency Services program with ongoing communications and training updates.
Negotiate national and local supplier and service agreements.
Be responsible for electrical and mechanical equipment layouts and modifying facilities in line with the plan.
Prepare bid packages and contracts to enable competitive procurement for infrastructure or construction projects.
Program Building Automation Control software to support daily facility and building operations.
Develop and assist maintenance programs to maximize system uptime and operational stability.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work-related experience with at least five years in a relevant field, plus applicable industry certifications.
Experience, code knowledge, and building-system familiarity aligned with assigned responsibilities.
Strong computer skills, including TELS, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Licenses or certifications such as PE or RA, CCM, or ASHE CHC are preferred.
Ability to manage a large workload across programming, approval, design, construction, occupancy, and close-out phases to meet deadlines.
Thorough knowledge of OSHA, EPA, OSHPD, and ACHA regulations related to operation and maintenance.
Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiation skills when interacting with management and staff.
Proven ability to generate innovative ideas and develop creative solutions.
Data-driven mindset with a track record of using information to anticipate issues or quickly implement action plans.
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and people skills; capable of working independently and in team settings.
Ability to travel as needed, up to 5%.

Job Description

LG Electronics is seeking a Staff Development Engineer in Alpharetta, GA to lead HVAC product development and new product introduction activities.

Responsibilities

Support LG's NPI product development initiatives.
Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and program managers to deliver on-time product launches via the NPI process.
Assess go-to-market strategies and review technical documents to ensure North America launches (US and Canada) are properly prepared.
Partner with the project team to uphold sound engineering practices, benchmark against competitors, and identify performance-driven improvements.
Provide engineering insights and implement improvement solutions for new product development.
Evaluate new product performance and recommend next steps.
Statistically analyze and interpret collected product data.
Assess field test data using statistical methods to inform decisions.
Identify design shortcomings and faults to pinpoint weaknesses and improvement opportunities.
Apply strong hardware and software understanding to create acquisition models for lab purposes.
Lead preparation of service, installation, and engineering manuals for US commercialization after launch.
Collaborate with product support engineers on technical reviews of new and existing products and materials.
Support cross-functional teams in creating and reviewing catalogs, brochures, submittals, guide specifications, and engineering manuals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
At least eight years of experience related to HVAC, water heating, and/or unitary products.
Experience with VRF, A-coil, AHU, FCU, or chillers strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of vapor compression and heat transfer principles in HVAC systems.
Experience designing evaporators, condensing units, and/or heat exchangers for residential and commercial applications.
Exposure to a variety of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability.
Ability to multi-task and work independently.
Experience with CSA, UL, or DOE certifications is a plus.
Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal problem solving, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in 3D CAD and interpreting drawings with knowledge of GD&T.
Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
