Acquisition Program Analyst / Systems Engineer

Job Description

At A² Systems Engineering, you will contribute to critical security space initiatives from our El Segundo, California campus. This onsite role blends systems engineering, acquisition program analysis, and program protection for missions that require an active clearance. The position offers a salary range of USD 170,000 to 200,000 per year and a benefits package designed to support your health, retirement, and work-life balance. Responsibilities

  • Provide systems engineering and test and evaluation support across all program phases, participating in System Requirements Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, Integration Design Reviews, Engineering Review Boards, Technical Deep Dives, assembly, integration and test, and lifecycle planning as well as operational support.
  • Support acquisition strategy development and execution, assist with space project planning and demonstrations, ensure requirements align with schedule, contract, and cost constraints, and contribute to baselines, memoranda of agreement, requirements traceability plans, and project reviews.
  • Support Program Protection planning and cybersecurity activities, developing and updating Program Protection Plans and Implementation Plans, and participate in Program Protection, Cyber, and Security Working Groups.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Program Management, or related field
  • Ten or more years of experience supporting DoD or space related acquisition and engineering programs
  • Familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle processes and technical reviews
  • Experience supporting acquisition documentation and program management activities
  • Knowledge of program protection, cybersecurity, or security planning processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a government and contractor integrated environment
