Job Description

This contract role supports aerospace-focused work designing and validating radio frequency (RF) systems for high frequency and microwave applications. The position is based in Atlanta, GA and requires USC eligibility, along with successful completion of background and drug screening.

Role Overview

As an Aerospace Radio Frequency Test Engineer, you will help architect RF systems and develop RF circuitry intended for receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers. You will also prepare test methods and specifications, then analyze and test RF hardware to confirm performance characteristics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and design radio frequency systems and circuitry.
  • Design and develop RF circuitry for high frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers.
  • Own hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and testing.
  • Prepare test methods and specifications; analyze and test RF hardware to verify performance characteristics.
  • Provide inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and support manufacturing during deliverable assembly and test.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in RF Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of communication systems development experience, including radios, antennas, and/or other related communication subsystems.
  • 3+ years of experience using RF analysis tools, including High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS).
  • MUST BE USC.
  • MUST PASS BACKGROUND AND DRUG SCREENS.

  • Hourly Pay: USD 40 to 70 per hour
