The Digital Signal Processing Software Engineer develops software and analytic tools to process wired or wireless signaling data, applying DSP principles to solve complex problems and mentor staff. This onsite role is based in McLean, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Develop software and analytic tools for transmitting signaling data over wired or wireless channels, using established methods, systems, and procedures.
- Apply advanced principles and concepts, contributing to the creation of new theories and approaches.
- Tackle unusually complex problems and deliver highly innovative, effective solutions.

- Mentor or supervise colleagues across both company and technical competencies.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience with languages such as Python, C, or C++.
- Experience with digital signal processing algorithms or RF theory.
- Familiarity with Agile processes and tools, including Jira or Confluence.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment to brainstorm and innovate.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.

Compensation
The projected compensation range is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 per year (USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date. Full-time and part-time employees who regularly work at least 20 hours per week are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs; those who do not meet the threshold are eligible only for select offerings.
